PROJECT ASSOCIATE I

The Norwood News salesperson will actively sell advertising space in the Norwood News to business owners, New York City or New York State government and its agencies, and the general public. The salesperson will establish and cultivate sales leads, boost the merits of advertising in a local community newspaper, track the number of established leads, identify potential streams of advertising revenue, approve ads before they're run, and write advertorials for clients when necessary. Their responsibilities also include identifying clients' needs, researching competitors' advertising services, products, and prices, and responding to potential clients’ inquiries.

 

Required

Associate's Degree

1-year experience working in sales; preferred Newspaper experience
