PSYCHOLOGIST CREDENTIALED

The lifespan Clinical Neuropsychologist will apply theories and principles of neuropsychology to evaluate and diagnose children and adults with a myriad of neurological disorders and other conditions that may impact cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning.
Job Responsibilities
Clinical interviewing
Administration of neuropsychological tests/ batteries; and interpretation of those tests to derive a diagnosis and recommendations
Documentation
Educate, train, and supervise Neuropsychology Externs, Post-Doctoral Fellows
Participate in educational programs, in-service training, or workshops
Provide administrative Support for the Division of Neuropsychology
Qualifications
PhD in Clinical Psychology or Clinical Neuropsychology Required
Completion of a clinical internship
Completion of 2 year clinical fellowship in neuropsychology
Psychologist licensure in NYS
Whereas active ABPP board-certification in clinical neuropsychology is not required at the time of hire, the provider should take steps to have obtained ABPP board certification in clinical neuropsychology within 5 years of the date of hire
