RECEPTIONIST

The Customer Service Receptionist provides patient information for visitors and family via EPIC. 

Provides screening services for all persons entering the medical center. 

Assist with directions throughout the medical center to patients and visitors. 

Performs routine clerical duties and related work as required.

Utilizes EPIC Transport Technologies in facilitating patient transport throughout the medical center or provides loaner wheelchairs. 

Assists with wayfinding and escorting to appointments or locations within the hospital. 

Lifting and moving supplies from one location to another. 

Stocking closets as needed for maintaining adequate levels. 

 

Determines most appropriate source of information in response to routine inquiries.

Operates personal computer terminal and telephones.

Education and Skills

Heavy phone contact, good interpersonal communicational skills, and basic knowledge of computer skills. Interaction with patients, visitors, and administration. 

High School Diploma or GED required. Bilingual preferred. 

 

This is a regular part-time position.

Day shift 8a - 4:30p includes weekends/holidays with a variable to fill the 5 workday need.
