REGISTERED NURSE-WAKEFIELD

The role of the Resource Center Registered Nurse involves providing professional nursing care to assigned patients. This includes assessing patients' needs, developing and documenting nursing care plans, and preparing and administering medications and interventions as necessary. Additionally, the Registered Nurse is responsible for supervising nursing attendants and ancillary staff in patient care activities.

 

***Float Team RN to a short stay elective surgery unit***

 

Qualifications:

  • New York State RN License
  • BSN Degree, preferred
  • 2 years of RN bedside experience in a hospital setting, preferred
  • Must be willing to float to the short stay elective surgery unit.
  • Basic Life Support Training
  • Infection Control Training
  • Effective English communication skills
  • Ability to use basic data entry and retrieval systems
