Job Title: Clinical Research Assistant


Job Responsibilities:

Under the direction of the Principal Investigator, the Clinical Research Assistant is responsible for the coordination and administration of clinical trials. The Research Assistant will develop, implement, and coordinate research and administrative procedures for the successful management of clinical trials including all ethical, regulatory, and legal tasks as required by the study protocol. In addition, the Assistant will be expected to perform a variety of duties regarding study recruitment and retention, coordination of sample collections, compilation and documentation of clinical research data.  Assists in conducting research projects, data collection, generates and maintains research databases, and prepares project reports and presentations.  You will be responsible for utilizing office computers for data storage and for data entry by secure internet procedures. Basic equipment required to separate and store blood and other specimens. Able to follow accurate IATA regulations for handling and shipping specimens.  

Job Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's degree and/or Licensed Practical Nurse training preferred.  Phlebotomy Technician Certification (CPT) preferred.
  • Ability to effectively navigate and document in the electronic patient record (EPIC) and other related mainframe software programs. 
  • Must possess or successfully complete CITI course within 6 months of hire.
  • 3 years’ work experience as an LPN or experience as a research assistant preferred


Hours: 8:30am-5:00pm, M-F, full-time
