SECRETARY II

The Secretary II performs secretarial and routine administrative duties. Prioritizes assignments and organizes functions to ensure effective office operations. Performs related work required. Utilizes effective interpersonal skills to communicate and collaborate effectively with executive staff.
 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate departmental office functions including organizing clerical functions and determining priority of tasks. To ensure efficient office operations.
  • Screens and responds to telephone inquiries.
  • Researches and prepares data in response to routine inquiries.
  • Maintains, organizes, and updates department files, policy and procedure manuals, and records. To ensure department information is accurate, accessible, and up to
  • date.
  • Performs routine clerical duties including tabulating data for reports, maintaining accounts and records as required, providing phone coverage, and distributing mail.
  • Provide clerical support for the department.

 

Please note: This position is a front desk admin position.

 
Requirements/Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/ GED, coupled with 1 year of related work experience required.
  • Bilingual Spanish preferred, not required.
  • Training in PC-based automated word processing systems, EPIC.
  • Knowledge of Medical Terminology
