SECRETARY II

Assists all patients, clinicians and co-workers in support of a patient centered ambulatory health care facility. Responsible for patient check out procedure and if needed will assist with patient check in. Obtains authorizations, schedules follow-up appointments, diagnostic and/or surgical scheduling. Fulfill all requirements of customer focused front desk reception. Provides the highest level of customer services to all visitors, patients and guests. Performs diversified and complex clerical duties. Rotates to multiple clinical practices based on operational needs.
EDUCATION & REQUIREMENTS:
High School Graduation or equivalent and completion of a business school course.
Three years of clerical experience required.
Experience with Microsoft Office programs and other PC based systems/programs required.
Requires knowledge of medical or equally complex terminology.
Superb interpersonal and customer service skills are required.
Ability to type 45 words per minute is required.
