Job Overview:


Provides technical expertise regarding the selection and installation of locks, electronic alarm systems, mechanical equipment and intercom systems. Also repairs locks and maintains key control and lock systems throughout the Medical Center.

The end results are to maintain a safe environment at all locations in the Medical Center.

Performs professional and administrative activities within a specializednon-clinical area. Analyzes data and prepares reports on findings.

Checks and inspects alarms and other electronic systems. Meets with outside contractors on the installation of alarms.

Repairs and installs locks. Duplicates and issue keys as requested.




  • High School Diploma/GED
  • NYS Locksmith License
  • Knowledge of various key cutting systems and machinery. 
  • At least 5 years of experience in the field
