SENIOR MEDICAID INTERVIEWER-WF

Responsible for performing a variety of clerical functions which include but are not limited to; Insurance Verification, Money Collection, Handle all billing inquiries. Resolve payment errors, post payments, make charge corrections, adjust balances, and establish payment plans. Handle CRM review and resolution. Collection of Documentation, Submission of Medicaid Applications to HRA/NYS DOH Portal and Financial Aid Applications to ensure the efficient operation of the various departments within RCO. Responsible for billing accounts once insurance information has been secured, while maintaining all Customer Service and departmental Guidelines. Assisting all patients with Billing review and collecting payments and or set up payment plan and or provide patient Estimates as needed. The position will also handle all requests for all fee scales, inclusive pharmacy and dental.

 

Education/skills:

 High School Diploma or GED  required. College course work preferred, and experience in collection and/or insurance verification. Must be experienced in providing excellent customer service and problem escalation/resolution in high volume atmosphere. Candidates must have strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with excellent telephone and face to face communication. Must be able to work independently and get along with others. Must successfully pass pre-hire assessments; Math, grammar/vocabulary & customer service with a score of 80% or above.
