Senior Secretary- Radiology Dept 

 

Job Summary: 

Strong executive who can multitask. Demonstrate strong leadership qualities. A teamplayer. Required to participate in meetings and transcribe minutes/notes. Role involves working with Division director and physicians. Coordinating expenses i.e. Petty cash, travel reimbursement, check request. Maintaining expense log and managing multiple physician’s calendars including on-call schedule and internal and external organization.

 

Job Requirements:

High School Graduate or equivalent and completion of a business school course.
Three - Four years of secretarial experience.
Medical Terminology.
Knowledge of insurance and or insurance background preferred.
Computer skills required (MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Excellent typing and spelling skills (45 wpm)
Good Communication Skills. Ability to speak, write English sufficiently to perform job duties.
Teamwork.
Good Customer Service Skills.

Operates personal computer, typewriter, scanner, fax machine, copier and dictation equipment.
