SERVICE ASSOCIATE

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

 

Maintains cleanliness of patient and non-patient areas.

Performs emergency clean up housekeeping tasks.

Disposes of waste materials; blood and body substances, chemicals, and trash properly to ensure a safe work environment. 

Transports patient as necessary.

Exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 50 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

 

**This is a floating Service Associate and will rotate to multiple clinical practices based on operational needs.** 

 

EDUCATION AND REQUIREMENTS:

 

High School Diploma or GED is required.

Effective English communication skills, both written and oral. Equipment Operations: 
Use of patient care transport equipment such as, but not limited to, wheelchairs and stretchers. 
Use of general housekeeping equipment such as, but not limited to, vacuum, mop, dustpan, broom.
