SITE SUPERVISOR BRONX OFFICE

The Site Supervisor for NY Gastroenterology manage daily operations and resources (employee and supply) of front desk and in house contact center using a lean philosophy to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and ease of operations.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Oversee call center staff

· Supervise daily operations to ensure efficiency, monitor patient phone calls

· Supervision of all patient registration includes accurate collection and complete verification of demographic data and insurance information; cash collection and deposit preparation, including the coordination of payment arrangements and patient deferral policies for self-pay patients

· Act as a patient advocate for patient concerns/waiting times, Identify problems and make recommendations for resolution

· Monitor the registration process ensuring that staff is advising patients of all necessary referrals and authorizations

· Ensure customer satisfaction and professionalism is kept at all times

· Interview candidates with Operations Manager when needed

· Coordination of coverage of staff members

· Maintain proper inventory of medical and office supplies

· Work closely with support staff to expedite and improve patient flow to ensure all staff are appropriately trained and meet department standards

· Review time off requests, track payroll hours

· Responsible for the conduct and performance of associates inclusive with managers assistance; including disciplines

· Adjust schedules as needed

· Field patient Complaints

· Conduct staff meetings

 

Education/skills required:

· Post high school degree (associate or bachelor’s degree) preferred or High School Diploma/GED coupled with five (5) years related work experience required

· Union management experience preferred with 1199 and NYSNA

· EPIC user certifications - required 

· Healthcare management experience required.

· Experience with collaborating, influencing, and partnering with many different departments within a service environment.

· Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
