Job Summary:
Seeking a licensed social worker to work in the Psychiatric Observation Suite at the Moses Division. Associate will work with an interdisciplinary team and provide evaluations, assist with inpatient admissions, assist with care coordination and family support for patients being evaluated in the emergency room in the context of a psychiatric crisis. Associate must maintain documentation practices within Department of Health and hospital guidelines.
Job Requirement:
- NY Licensed LMSW/LCSW
- Knowledge of the DSMV is required.
- Experience or training in working in acute treatment settings (emergency room, CPEP, inpatient) is strongly preferred.
- The ideal candidate would have Spanish speaking proficiency. (preferred, but not required)
- Monday-Friday work schedule
