JOB DESCRIPTION

As part of the School Health Program, the Social Worker will:

  • Work with the student population in the Bronx providing a range of direct and indirect services to children, adolescents, and their families
  • Assess and treat mental health concerns, crisis intervention, and parent/guardian and team collaboration around safe and timely discharge and treatment planning
  • Comply with the mission statements of Montefiore and Social Services and the code of ethics of the National Association of Social Work is required

School Site: IS 145 | 10 Month position 

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Master's in Social Work
  • LMSW /LCSW (preferred) - must have licensure to independently diagnose and treat, and for billing purposes
