Manages revenue cycle activities for Oncology Services (Best Practice Initiatives). Meets with Director,  Dept. Chairs and Senior Executives on Revenue Cycle Performance and Outcomes. Develops/Assists in creating revenue cycle policies and procedures. Works closely with PB and HB leadership for best outcomes as well as various departments for successful outcomes. Serves as a liaison for Community Oncology Practices and MECCC. Monitors, analyze and report on revenue cycle work-related activities for Oncology Services. Assists with budgets, projections, forecasting and feasibility studies. Participates in business development initiatives and provide data management services for all budget and new business development needs. Works closely with team on EPIC and ICD-10 training/implementation etc. Oncology/Hematology and Community Oncology practices. Manages revenue cycle projects (i.e., front and back-end operations). Provides training, career development, disciplinary actions and supervision for revenue cycle staff. Manages, develops, enforces adherence and implementation of department policy & procedures. Manages clinical staff credentialing and re-credentialing initiatives. Coordinates, manages audits (internal and external).  


A minimum of 5 years of hospital revenue cycle experience. At least 2 years of supervisory, or management experience preferably in health care. Master’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience. Knowledge of medical terminology, HCPCS, ICD-9 and CPT coding required. Coding certification recommended. Training and/or experience in working with customers, staff and multiple health care related systems recommended. Team-player and developer. Ability to work closely with executive and senior hospital management.
