STAFF NURSE I/II

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

We have an exciting opportunity to join the Ambulatory Pediatric Cardiology team as a Registered Nurse at The Children’s Hospital at Montefiore. This RN will be part of the Pediatric Cardiology research team providing support for patients enrolled in divisional research studies. This includes assessing patients, developing and documenting nursing care and discharge plans, and preparing and administering medications and interventions as needed. The RN will support Physicians in evaluating patients in the inpatient or outpatient setting, all research coordination including communication with families, patients, vendors, and other interdisciplinary teams. The RN will also manage IRB and all study data entry and storage as per specific study protocols.  

EDUCATION AND REQUIREMENTS:

NYS RN License and Registation.

Two years' experience with Pediatrics and/or Pediatric or Adult Cardiology is preferred.

Congenital heart disease experience preferred. Basic Life Support, Pediatric Advance Life Support and Adult Advanced Life Support required. 

Pay $50.56/hr
