SURGICAL PROCEDURES ADMINISTRATOR

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

 

The Surgical Navigation/Procedures Administrator organizes a multidisciplinary team to ensure patients have finished all necessary tasks before being cleared for their elective surgery or procedure. This includes but is not limited to; medical evaluation and optimization, appointment scheduling and reminders, financial clearance, education regarding the impending treatment, transportation to and from MMC, and pre-operative and post-operative surgical instructions.

 

SCHEDULE:  9 AM-5:30 PM, days vary.

 

EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Three years of experience in healthcare administration or management related field required.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Epic. Visio, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to report to all perioperative locations across Montefiore’s various entities as needed and assigned by the department.
