Performs a variety of clinical services in a private/ambulatory practice setting.  Support physicians clinically during office hours.  Ensuring that the flow of patient is consistent resulting in the maximization of the physicians’ hours. Escort to exam rooms, assist with procedures,  remove and apply casts.  Escort patients to transport.  Provide and obtain information.  Execute orders. Ensure compliance with institutional and regulatory agencies in the area of infection control, patient safety, customer service and quality patient care.  Associate must manage patient flow between their area and the x-ray department to ensure timely delivery of services. Performs sterilization of equipment.  Performs technical procedures.  Casting (cast cutter), suture removal equipment.   The traveling to different locations is required to provide coverage in case of emergencies as well as vacations. The weekend hours are required if we do not have anyone to work the weekends. The employee must be able to hand a high volume of patients.  


High School diploma or equivalent and completion of a certified patient care technician program, nursing assistance program or registered medical assistance from a New York State accredited school.  One to three years of medical technician experience.  Prior casting experience a plus.


Employee will be required to cover at all locations when necessary for vacations, sick time etc. Employee will be required to cover at the following sites: Wakefield,  Map6, Yonkers, White Plains, and Tarrytown.  This is a floating position. The employee must be flexible. Hours/shifts/schedules subject to change. Weekend coverage may be necessary.
