TRANSPLANT COORDINATOR PRACTITIONER

BRONX, NY, US


The Pediatric Clinical Transplant Coordinator, in collaboration with physicians and other health care providers, is responsible for coordinating the clinical aspects of care for patients and families undergoing the process of organ transplantation. Demonstrates advanced and diverse clinical knowledge and skills in the capacity of clinician, educator, collaborator and patient advocate to provide both direct and indirect patient care in a semi-autonomous, self-directed role in accordance with professional practice standards and clinical expertise.

 

 

Requirements:

Current certification and registration as a Nurse Practitioner with New York State.

A minimum of two years of nursing experience preferred.
Pediatric experience preferred.
Effective English communication skills, both written and oral
Ability to use data entry and retrieval system.
