TRANSPLANT SURGICAL PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT

The Physician Assistant within the department of Transplant Surgery works closely with physicians to provide quality, efficient, and thoughtful patient care. This position will provide medical/surgical care to pre and post transplant, general transplant surgery and vascular access patients. The PA works under the direct supervision with the following responsibilities: Performs physical examinations, ordering and/ or performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, formulating a diagnosis, developing, and implementing a treatment plan, monitoring the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions and providing educational instruction in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team. The PA will work in the hospital setting.
Requirements
BA Degree
Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
Current NYS PA license
Certified through NCCPA
