ULTRASOUND TECHNICIAN RD OB CRD VAS

The registered Ultrasound Technologist performs various modalities of cardiac ultrasound, including Transthoracic echo, stress (exercise and pharmacological) echo, assistance in transesophageal echo and assistance in echo guided invasive procedures.

 

Responsibilities include preparation of preliminary reports, study transmittal and coverage of various outpatient satellite sites- including but not limited to: 2426 Eastchester Road, 2814 Middletown Rd, 4256 Bronx Blvd, 1628 Eastchester Road, and other Hospital locations. 

This position may require evenings and weekends as needed.

 

Education/skills required:

  • High school diploma or equivalency required
  • Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS OR RDCS) required
  • At least one year of clinical echocardiography experience preferred.
  • Completion of CAAHEP certified cardiovascular sonography program preferred. 
  • Must be BLS certified.
