ULTRASOUND TECHNICIAN RD OB CRD VAS

The Department of Cardiology seeks Ultrasound Technologist to join their team. The successful candidate will perform various modalities of cardiac ultrasound, including transthoracic echo, stress (exercise and pharmacological) echo, assistance in transesophageal echo and assistance in echo guided invasive procedures. Additional responsibilities include preparation of primary reports, study transmittal and coverage of various outpatient satellite sites.
Education and skills:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS or ARDMS) required coupled with at least one (1) year of clinical echo cardiography experience preferred
- Completion of CAAHEP Certified cardiovascular sonography program preferred
- BLS certified required
