ULTRASOUND TECHNICIAN RD OB CRD VAS

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The registered Ultrasound Technologist performs various modalities of cardiac ultrasound, including Transthoracic Echo, stress (exercise and pharmacological) echo, assistance in transesophageal echo and assistance in echo guided invasive procedures. Responsibilities include preparation of preliminary reports, study transmittal and coverage of various outpatient satellite sites.
REQUIREMENT:
- HS Diploma or GED required.
- Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS OR RDCS) with at least one year of clinical echocardiography experience preferred.
- Completion of CAAHEP certified cardiovascular sonography program preferred.
- Must be BLS certified.
