This applies for all shifts; Part Time positions will be prorated.  Per Diem positions are not included.

The positions are available at Moses, Einstein, Westchester Square, Hutch Metro Center MAP, MMP, Radiology Bronx East, Cross County and Wakefield campus.

Referral Program:

·        First payment of $1,500.00 will be paid out on the month the new associate starts, with an additional payment of $1,000.00 to be paid out following a successful completion of probationary period.

·        This Associate Referral Program is open to Montefiore Medical Center associates as outlined in HR Policy ll-4b.

This Associate Referral Program ends on May 31, 2023.

How to submit a referral:

Locate a requisition (posting will indicate ARP eligible) and use the “Refer a Friend” option via the Talent Management System. All referrals must have a current resume attached at the time of referral and will be tracked via the Talent Management System.

Under the direction of the Radiologist in charge of ultrasound and supervisor of ultrasound, performs a variety of ultrasound examinations at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail.  Uses independent judgment and initiative to apply prescribed scanning protocols for purposes of medical diagnosis. 

Start times vary for this position 7:30-4pm, 8am-4:30pm, 8:30am-5:00pm, 9am-5:30pm

Education and Requirements:

High School Diploma/GED required.

Associates degree or Diploma from an Accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program.

Graduation from an accredited training program in diagnostic medical sonography, which meets requirements for certification by ARDMS.

Must be registered by the ARDMS in Abdomen and/or OB/Gyn.

Requires 30 CE credits per three year rolling triennium to maintain active ARDMS status.

Operation of  diagnostic ultrasound units capable of B Mode, M Mode, color and pulse wave Doppler and 3D imaging.

Utilization of the EPIC medical information system. Utilization of GE PACS.

Utilization of Trophon disinfection systems. Workstation/PC operational knowledge.
