Montefiore Medical Center is a major tertiary care facility in New York City that seeks a wound care physician to join our collegial team.  


This can be either a part-time or full-time position.  The ideal candidate will have experience in chronic wound management including sharp debridement, and will be comfortable working across settings including an inpatient consultation service, ambulatory practice, and nursing home consultations. Hyperbaric medicine certification not required, but opportunities for practice are available if desired. Physicians with Board Certification in medical or surgical specialties will be considered.  You must have the ability to work in a team environment and to liaison effectively with hospital staff and colleagues for prevention and management.  The position also includes teaching of students and residents, with opportunities to pursue research interests.

Hours for this position are Monday-Friday 9a-5p.  There is no call and no weekend coverage required.

Compensation is competitive and is based to a large extent on experience.  There is an expansive benefit plan available as well including a deferred saving plan and all insurances.
