Montefiore IT is actively recruiting for Infor ERP Finance and Supply Chain Management! We recently implemented Infor FSM, and we are assembling a dedicated team to provide ongoing support for the lifecycle of this critical module.

 

The Applications Analyst - SCM (Supply Chain Management) Process & Configuration Analyst is responsible for configuring, implementing, and supporting the assigned SCM modules of the Infor ERP system. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into system configurations and workflows. The Applications Analyst also provides technical support and expertise to end-users, ensuring the system is used effectively and efficiently to meet business objectives. This role requires strong knowledge of SCM concepts and processes, such as Requisitions, Purchasing, Inventory Management, MSCM, EDI, Matching, Payables, Strategic Sourcing and Contracts.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Install new applications, new components, and upgrade existing applications. Configure application settings.
  • Provide go-live and rollout support. Support users on new applications, modules, and functionality.
  • Provide application troubleshooting support for the application(s). Resolve the issue, forward it to the correct group for remediation, or elevate it to the vendor if required.
  • Assist with determining how a new system, upgrade, or new component can meet the needs of the users.
  • Analyze business/clinical needs and requirements.
  • Evaluate the operational workflow that is applied to the system.
  • Create system specifications from user requirements.
  • Create test plans and test new systems, version upgrades, and any system modification. Document all outcomes of testing.
  • Design database queries and create reports utilizing a report-writing tool.
  • Monitor application issues and evaluate issues as they arise.
  • Write and maintain accurate and current documentation regarding application(s) supported by the team. Participate in the maintenance of training materials and disseminate materials to users.
  • Provide timely, effective, and professional customer support on a 24x7 rotating basis. Work with the help desk and support personnel on escalated issues to identify problems and resolve them. Triage network, hardware, or workstation issues as required.
  • Analyze necessary application modifications and work with the appropriate Montefiore IT associate or the vendor to coordinate the modification.
  • Act as a liaison to the vendor for Montefiore IT or the client. 
    • ​​​​ Contact vendor to report escalations and obtain assistance with solving issues
    •  Assist with the coordination of vendor activities including hardware or software installation.

 

Application Responsibilities:

  • Configure and customize the SCM modules of Infor ERP system, with a focus on assigned modules, to meet business requirements
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into system configurations and workflows
  • Test and validate system configurations and workflows to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with industry standards and best practices
  • Provide technical support and expertise to end-users, troubleshooting and resolving system issues and incidents in a timely manner
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, including functional specifications, system designs, and user manuals
  • Participate in system upgrades and enhancements, ensuring that all changes are thoroughly tested, validated and documented before deployment
  • Identify and recommend system improvements and process optimizations, such as automation and workflow enhancements
  • Stay current with the latest trends and technologies in SCM and related areas, and share knowledge with team members and stakeholders
  • Application implementation, troubleshooting, and support
  • Application testing

 

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Job experience in related field
  • 3+ years of experience in SCM process and configuration analysis, preferably in Infor ERP system
  • Strong knowledge of SCM concepts and processes, such as Requisitions, Purchasing, Inventory Management, MSCM, EDI, Matching, Payables, Strategic Sourcing and Contracts.
  • Experience in supporting system configuration and customization, preferably in Infor ERP system
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into system configurations and workflows
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with business stakeholders and end-users
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously

 

Desired:

  • Experience in system testing and validation, preferably in Infor ERP system
  • Experience in system documentation and user training, preferably in Infor ERP system
  • Experience in SQL and database concepts, preferably in Infor ERP system
  • Experience in agile methodologies and tools, such as Scrum or Kanban
  • Familiarity with Infor Deployment Methodologies
