TECHNICAL TRAINER

ELMSFORD, NY, US


The Technical Trainer provides in-person and virtual training to support Montefiore's campus-specific and system-wide initiatives. This includes training to support the roll-out of new software applications  and upgrades to existing applications, software application training of new employees, and ongoing performance support for end users. Assignments will include role-based training on Infor Cloud ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software for business units including but not limited to Finance and Supply Chain, Human Resources, Enterprise Asset Management, and Talent Management. The Technical Trainer is responsible for monitoring the quality and effectiveness of the training provided through analysis of learner assessments and course evaluation data, and for working with instructional designers to incorporate revisions for continuous improvement.

 

Education/Skills:

 

Bachelor's degree 
- 3+ years in a technical training role with demonstrated adult learning and curriculum design/improvement experience
- Experience facilitating classroom-based and virtual instructor-led trainings
- Experience communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders at different levels
- Experience with a major ERP system or other enterprise-wide technical application preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Solid project management experience. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously; ability to set and  meet project deadlines
- Ability to work with internal clients in a consulting capacity.
