DIRECTOR FINANCE

TARRYTOWN, NY, US


Directs financial reporting and accounting for the Montefiore Medical Group which includes School Health and Occupational Health services.  Responsible for weekly and monthly financial/operational reporting on productivity, co-pay collection, etc; develops Budgets and Forecasts in consultation with Operations and Clinical Leadership; assembles business plans for capital projects and capital expansions.    As part of the MHS Finance Department, coordinates monthly closes, AR evaluation and the progress for all projects with other members of the team.   Assists Medical Group Leadership in process improvement efforts.  This includes working with Montefiore Medical Group FQHC partner, Bronx Community Health Network (BCHN), on all financial matters to maintain compliance with financial aspects based on HRSA requirements. 

 

Education/Skills:

 

Bachelor's Degree required with a minimum of 5 years work experience.

Knowledge of Accounting and Budget principles.

 Familiarity with physician practice operations and finances, including billing.  

 Financial experience with Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC's).  

Must know excel and data base management.
