FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING SUPERVISOR

TARRYTOWN, NY, US


Assistant Manager provides variance explanations to budget/target & year over year for OTPS during the month end process. Prepares internal and external required reports. Assists during year end audit.  Runs financial reports and review accounts for the month end close process. Responsible for PPE related month end close including preparing, reviewing and approving journal entries and reconciliations. Creates entries for reclassification of MIT, CM, EM & ERP capital salaries to appropriate CIP projects in Strata. Works with Budget and Operational departments to correct any PPE miscodings.  Maintains the depreciation forecast schedule. Responsible for OTPS related month end close functions including preparing, reviewing and approving journal entries and reconciliations.  Reviews monthly AP transactions and invoices over $200k for miscoding, prepaid expenses and identifying large variances to MTD target and year over year.

 

Education:   Bachelor's Degree.  Five year's experience.
