Perform diversified and highly complex administrative duties in HIM associated with reviews from various regulatory agencies and third party payers, maintenance of logs, files and other reporting requirements.  Provide support in areas of quality control, requests for medical records, data entry, recording of minutes and other duties of a complex nature.  Troubleshoot and problem-solve issues related to work unit.  Prioritize and distribute work of a semi routine nature to maintain a smooth functioning work unit and ensure that issues are resolved timely or escalated appropriately. 




High school diploma or general equivalency with at least two (2) years of responsible clerical experience involving medical records. 

Must have knowledge of computer systems and basic application software such as: word processing, spreadsheet and database programs in a Windows environment.
