PROGRAM MANAGER ASSOCIATE WELLNESS

Job Description:

Montefiore’s To Your Health Associate Wellness program provides an integrative approach to employee wellness through nutrition and exercise programming, mental health programming, and holistic creative relaxation programming. 

 

Currently we are seeking a program manager to lead Montefiore’s associate focused Creative Wellness Program within the Office of Community & Population Health. 

 

The ideal candidate will:   

  • Have experience designing, implementing, and evaluating a broad range of programs for group and individual employees
  • Lead and/or oversee experiential programs for associates related to creative movement and relaxation, such as meditation, crafts, music, dance/exercise, art, yoga, aromatherapy, etc., for the purpose of promoting wellness
  • Oversee independent contractors and volunteers working within the Associate Wellness
  • Maintain and promote a calendar of Creative Wellness Initiatives for associates across multiple campuses
  • Assist in strategic planning and development of the Creative Wellness Initiative
  • Develop/deliver presentations and in-services across Montefiore, including clinical areas
  • Have experience working across an institution and with leadership to implement and promote initiatives

 

Qualification:

  • B.A or B.S in therapeutic recreation, music therapy, exercise physiology, holistic nursing, fine arts, art therapy, movement therapy, creative arts, or a related field with relevant experience. Masters degree preferred.
  • 1 – 3 years related program management experience, ideally in non-profit or healthcare environments, with excellent communication, writing and organizational skills.
  • Experience teaching/providing one-on-one and group interaction a plus.
  • Ability to travel and adjust program implementation based on varying environments
