SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST

TARRYTOWN, NY, US


This position serves in a support & advisory role to assist management in meeting strategic and operational goals, with a focus on capital management system and financial performance.   Primary responsibilities include:

Work with management to develop capital budget; support analytic functions with regards to multi year budget forecasting for the Montefiore Health System and it's affiliates; Prepare capital spending reports and provide overviews to Management of various business areas; assist with Managed Care Accounting and Financial Reporting; perform ad hoc analyses and other tasks as assigned.

Education/Skills:

Bachelor's Degree.  Six year experience
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products (excel, word, access, powerpoint)
Knowledge of ER systems (SAP, oracle, smart view, info, strata jazz, p-suite/GHX)
Knowledge of GAAP principles
Financial Modeling experience
Ability to manipulate data utilizing database management and financial management systems and present in a easy to read format.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to train end users on the capital management system
Proficiency in time management and ability to multi task
Comfortability with learning new systems and databases
