We seek an Application Analyst to work on digital initiatives as part of our Epic Patient Engagement team.  

  

The work includes new set of configurations and support models for connecting Epic with Microsoft Teams into clinician workflows using Epic Hyperspace, MyChart, Haiku, Canto, and EpicCare Link. The Epic product-specific build includes scheduling and workflows of providers and patients, plus support models to achieve a successful implementation and ongoing support. The architecture will be EPIC based. 

The Application Analyst will achieve knowledge of the Epic application and serve as a liaison among users, our Digital team, and the Epic implementation staff. Additionally, the Epic Application Analyst performs analysis of workflows, data collection, report details and other technical issues associated with Epic software. This Analyst prepares requirements specifications and provides technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and configuring systems and procedures that meet user requirements. The Analyst will review and test new releases and document all outcomes of testing and serve as the support contact for the application. This position is responsible for all phases of the application implementation including design, build, test, installation, and maintenance.  
  
Requirements include: 

  • Experience in a related clinical technical position. 
    Experience with application builds and go-lives. 

  • Experience in application implementation, workflows, troubleshooting, testing, and support. 

  • Epic certification in MyChart with Ambulatory or Healthy Planet.  
    Strong MS Office 

  • Knowledge of inpatient and ambulatory workflows 

  • Programming or other technical skills beneficial 

  • Experience dealing with end users 

  • Participate in on-call rotation

  • Demonstrated understanding of technical documentation 

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills 

  • Professional written and verbal communication skills. 

  

Meeting all requirements for Epic certification is a condition of employment.
