APPLICATION ANALYST

Support the overall delegated submission and provider enrollment of Montefiore Health System (MHS) by serving as a primary contact for the review of monthly files from the health plans, replies from the health plans of 38+ weekly submission files, audits, and claim edits with the goal of verifying all updates, adds and terms were properly done to avoid claim and authorization denials.  This position should reduce or eliminate $405,000 annually in credentialing related write-offs.

 

Requirements:

  • Effective documentation skills as well as advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel are essential
  • Knowledge of health insurance industry and benefit plan designs
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred but not required
  • The qualified candidate will demonstrate ability to establish two-way communication by clearly defining expectations, communicating through a variety of methods, actively listening to ideas and concerns, and responding in an appropriate manner, complete responsibilities appropriately and timely, retain composure under stress.
