Our award-winning IT organization seeks an Assistant Application Analyst for our Epic User & Security team. The team’s focus is on the User Master File, User Security, Provider Master File Management, and Content Management/Data Courier. The person in this role will also work alongside our Epic Core team.

 

Montefiore requires employees to reside in NY, NJ, CT, or PA and to be vaccinated including for Covid and flu. This is not a fully remote position.

 

Responsibilities include:

 

  • Analyze, configure, test and support the respective modules of the Epic Electronic Health Record (EHR) software and related analytics, with minimal supervision.
  • Perform system configuration functions utilizing and/or with assistance of on-line architectural tools, in-house documentation or support from other members of the team.
  • Interact with operational end users from clinical, business and Information systems departments, to address user permission, workflow and experience changes and issues.
  • Update and maintain appropriate and accurate process & procedure documentation regarding application(s) / modules supported by the team.
  • Provide timely, effective, and professional customer support on a 24x7 rotating basis. Work with the help desk and other application support personnel on escalated issues to identify problems and resolve them.
  • Test new systems, version upgrades, and any system modification. Document all outcomes of testing.
  • Attend meetings and participate on committees as required / directed.
  • Provide status reports to management when required.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

 

Requirements include:

 

  • Epic certification in User & Security or be able to obtain within 3 months of hire
  • Have or must obtain SER badge and Content Management Badge
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly to our fast-paced environment.
  • Excel proficiency
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Familiar with CA Service Manager desired.
