ASSISTANT DIRECTOR ANALYTICS

YONKERS, NY, US


The Assistant Director, FPG Analytics, is accountable for Analytics functions related to MMC/MHS Physician Practice Operations and Revenue Cycle. Under direction of the Senior Director, FPG Analytics, this position plays a key role in developing the Physician Practice Revenue Cycle Analytics road map and will help develop an overall strategy to address analytics across all Physician Practice revenue functions, programs and initiatives. The incumbent will manage an analytics team consisting of 2 Analytics Managers, 1 Senior Financial Analyst, and 2 Report Analysts.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Work with Senior Director to develop Analytics road map for MMC Physician Practice in accordance with Health System Strategic Initiatives
  • Oversee development, build and maintenance of reporting solutions to provide standard/recurring reports for MMC Physician Revenue Cycle, Practice Operations, and Physician Productivity performance/management
  • Provide ad-hoc analytics support for operations and revenue-cycle related requests using a variety of tools
  • Recommend and develop standard performance indicators to monitor, track and improve physician practice outcomes
  • Oversee documentation for FPG Analytics team. Ensure that all reports are accompanied by appropriate documentation, which includes an outward facing executive summary as well as internal build, production, and maintenance guides
  • Oversee data relationships with acquired practices and MHS affiliates. Serve as data and analytics steward for these entities. Directly manage relationship; engage with stakeholders (MMC Operations, MMC Finance, and external entities) to determine reporting and analytics needs; develop and maintain new reports based on these needs

 

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Masters Degree in Business, Healthcare, Management, Finance, Analytics Preferred
  • 5 years work experience in a supervisory capacity
  • Strong knowledge of Physician Revenue Cycle, Scheduling/Referral, and Operations workflows
  • Experience in Hospital Revenue Cycle in lieu of Physician Revenue Cycle will also be considered
  • Very Strong working knowledge of applications required: Microsoft Excel; SQL; Crystal Reports; Power BI; Tableau
  • Experience developing and building dashboard visualizations
  • 8 years of extensive experience in Health Care Analytics, preferably with a focus on healthcare revenue cycle and billing, patient scheduling, physician productivity
