BUSINESS ANALYST II

The Business Analyst is a member of the Faculty Practice Group Analytics team in Professional Services and provides data, reporting, and analytics support to meet FPG operational and revenue cycle needs. This role works collaboratively with stakeholders throughout the Faculty Practice to identify, develop, and document reporting and analytics needs. On a Day-to-day basis the incumbent will tackle business/systems problems and convey this information to stakeholders.  

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare, Distribute and Maintain Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Revenue Cycle Reports for MMC Physician Practices
  • Handle basic ad-hoc reporting and data requests.
  • Create and maintain report and work flow documentation. Document (internal) process to compile data and reports; Prepare (external) reference documentation for how to use and interpret the report.
  • Prepare and reconcile Month End journal entries based on various billing agreements; Address issues with Corporate Finance and Physician Practices; Provide quarterly reconciliation of actual vs accrued amounts
  • Assist in reconciliation process between the various self-service data/reporting environments and source system (Epic) to ensure accuracy; Identify gaps and resolutions, and help implement changes.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred
  • 2 Years work experience 
  • Strong Analytical and Organizational skills.
  • Solid communication (written and oral) skills.
  • Knowledge of health care Revenue Cycle workflows.
  • Working knowledge of Epic PB and Cadence applications.
  • Solid Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access skills (basic formulas linking data across files, pivot tables, charts/graphs)
