The position oversees the Quality and Performance Improvement (PI) Team and related activities supported by the Montefiore Medical Group (MMG) Quality Improvement and Informatics (QI&I) Department.   Reporting to the QI&I Senior Director and Chief of Quality and Informatics, the Director supervises a Team of PI Coaches and the Transformation Manager in supporting and promoting quality improvement at primary care, urgent care, school health and occupational health sites. The Director works closely with the Director of Informatics and Analytics and MMG Regional and Site Leadership to plan and undertake quality and performance improvement activities to meet and exceed MMG's financial, clinical, operational and quality objectives and targets.  

Hours: Monday – Friday ; 8:30a-5:00p
Salary Range/Rate: $150,000

•    Oversees technical support for clinical quality and operations process improvement initiatives and activities for the Montefiore Medical Group (MMG: denotes all MMG areas including primary care, school health, occupational health, urgent care and others). 
•    Collaborates with CMO on pay for performance metrics and opportunities for MMG patients and their families.
•    Works closely with MMG Sr Directors and Operations and Medical Director Leadership to identify and implement changes in processes and procedures that enhance program efficiencies, patient safety, access to care and revenue generation.
•    Coordinates development, revision and updates to MMG operations and patient care workflows and related informational and educational materials for colleagues and patients.
•    Collaborates routinely with the Director of Informatics and Analytics to communicate Site-based data needs, opportunities for enhanced and relevant performance data presentation and application to enhance MMG Associates understanding of QI&I data and MMG Dashboards
•    Analyzes existing plans, policies and procedures and communicates the need for updates/revisions to QI&I and MMG Leadership.

•    Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
•    Excellent mastery of QI concepts including but not limited to Lean Six Sigma, IHI Model for Improvement, statistical process control charts, ADKAR, voice of customer, etc.
•    Master’s Degree
•    Six (6) years of related work experience
•    Mastery of QI concepts including but not limited to Lean Six Sigma, IHI Model for Improvement, statistical process control charts, ADKAR, voice of customer, etc.
