We are hiring for an Application Analyst-PointClickCare Long Term Care

 

Responsibilities:

  • Participate with long term clinical workflows (Nursing, Nutrition, Therapy, etc.) and create workflow documentation and tipsheets as needed
  • Work with various governance committees to develop integrated solutions with both PCC and Epic
  • Configure system settings and user settings in PCC and Net Health
  • Interface with users/clients across the Montefiore Health System. Support users on new applications, modules, and functionality
  • Perform analysis of necessary application modifications and work with the appropriate Montefiore IT associates or the vendor to coordinate the modification
  • Determine how a new system, upgrade, or new component can best meet the needs of the users: 
    • Analyze business/clinical needs and requirements
    • Interpret end user requirements, by fully discussing potential options, and help client move towards optimal solution
    • Evaluate the operational workflow that is applied to the system
    • Create system specifications from user requirements
  • Create test plans and test new systems, integrated vendors, version upgrades, and any system modifications. Document all outcomes of testing.
  • Application implementation, troubleshooting, and support
  • Participate in technical integration and interface build
  • Write and maintain accurate and current documentation Participate in the maintenance of training materials and disseminate materials to users
  • Provide day-to-day operational support, advanced application troubleshooting support, coordinate modifications and updates, recommend improvements & increase efficiencies and provide pro-active monitoring
  • Provide 24 x 7 on-call coverage for user support on a rotating basis
  • On an as-needed basis, provide on-site support within the Montefiore Medical Center hospitals and/or its’ affiliates (on-site, rotational support)

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of related clinical or business experience in PointClickCare (PCC) and/or Net Health
  • Application/System implementation, troubleshooting, testing, and support experience
  • Strong desktop skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with customers, vendors, peers, and management
  • Eager to learn, exceptional listening skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong presentations skills
  • Excellent follow up skills, documentation skills and organizational skills
  • Must be adaptable in a rapidly changing environment with competing priorities

 

Desired:

  • Programming or other technical skills are beneficial
  • Knowledge of Epic ClinDoc and Rehab modules are beneficial
