PROJECT MANAGER HEALTH EQUITY IMPROVEMEN
YONKERS, NY, US
The Equity Project Manager will work with the Senior Director of Health Equity in the Health Equity Unit of the Network Performance Group on health equity projects that are aligned with MMC priorities, and support the various leads in project management as well as communication and collaboration across the sites. The Equity Project Manager will also take on a leadership role in helping to plan the execution, manage, and direct, as appropriate the suite of projects within the Health Equity Unit as well as those in collaboration with other organizational stakeholders. The division needs a project manager who can focus on working with the Senior Director of Health Equity to plan multiple projects at any given time, drive day to day change management activities, and provide appropriate levels of support and supervision as well as the organizational skills to manage and direct projects. The Project Manager will get help support process improvement methodology, with team support from the Montefiore Center for Performance Improvement team.
EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in a health related field. Five year's experience.
Skills:
Extensive Expertise in the Development and Management of Project Plans and Program Management.
Expertise in Business, Administrative and Clinical Processes and Quality Standards.
Experience in performance improvement, system analysis, and process design and workflow, using an equity lens.
Excellent Communications and Writing Skills.
Ability to Design and Generate Operational and Statistical
Knowledgeable to Project Management Institute standards
