Our Epic Technical Services team is seeking a Senior Application Analyst to provide technical services and production support to our Epic teams and other users. This role requires strong analytical and communication skills to maximize the benefit of Montefiore’s comprehensive and growing Epic infrastructure.


Responsibilities include:

  • Provide technical support to IT team.
  • Create new workflow documentation as needed.
  • Generate appropriate communication and process to identify and remove obstacles to change and mitigate disruption.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for integration issues that affect Epic.
  • Respond to daily tickets which will include conversations with end users to identify issues.
  • On-call support will be on a rotating basis 24/7.
  • Participate in overnight support for Updates and Upgrades.
  • Collaborate among IT teams to prevent errors. Resolve errors when they occur and document solutions. Recommend process improvement to reduce errors.
  • Participate in testing.
  • Participate in project planning and execution.
  • Provide input on intelligent solutions to improve efficiency.
  • Mentor and transfer knowledge to colleagues.
  • Maintain high professional standards and exhibit excellent customer service skills while performing assigned tasks.


Requirements include:

  • 5+ years working in a related position.
  • Epic certification in Security is required.
  • Epic SER Badge and Data Courier Mover Badge are required within 3 months of employment
  • Experience providing application implementation, troubleshooting, testing, and support.
  • Strong desktop skills.
  • Understanding of Epic workflows.
  • Experience dealing with end users.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and rapport-building skills.
  • Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP(), XLOOKUP(), Macros) required.
  • Knowledge of SQL preferred.
